Stopped off to take a couple of photos at Marazion Junction
Saw this lovely sailing vessel out in the bay - by the look of it, it's a Pilot Cutter
Jim saw it from home and managed this shot- sadly no initials on the mailsail so can't identify her
Jim the destructor has had a good day today - first one of the sliding doors in the big steam shower came off - needs new runners and then the lawnmower fell apart again, so off we all went to the mower repair guy out near St Just. We then managed to find the walk out towards Men-an-Tol with the engine house for the Ding Dong Mine off in the distance
Spotted this big Oil Beetle looking a bit the worse for wear - think it might have had a close encounter with the tractor that was going up the dusty track ahead of us
We got to Men-an-Tol and found that there was a group of - well not sure who they were, but they were all looking very spiritual and meditating - so we turned around and made our way back.
Nice to see ponies rather than cattle up there
The usual shot through the windscreen as we came back down towards sea level
Beautiful Crab Apple Tree just down the road
One of the darkest Rosemary's I've seen - photo not doing it justice
Thanks to Dave Sharp for raising the flag on the church for St Georges day - I gather it was rather windy up there !
Not sure which way the cloud was going, but the sun seemed to disappear
I recently came across your blog. How lovely! You live in such a beautiful spot! I check to see your photos every evening. Thanks for posting.
