A walk at St Clement

We got to Truro in good time and after a quick shop in the big M&S we drove to St Clement to walk the dogs - sadly the tide was out and there wasn't much sun
Whistling Jacks seem to be everywhere at the moment - they look lovely in a large patch like this
Not much bird life around as most of the Curlews are away breeding - just this Cormorant
Caterpillar high up on a plant for a change, we always seem to see them on the footpaths
Handsome Little Egret in full breeding plumage
The blossom from the May Tree was being blown down onto the water of Tresemple Pool
By the time we were back at the car there was a little more water in the creek
Always loved these Mexican Fleabanes that seem to love to grow on granite walls - wish we had some in the garden
Love to see the Campanula flowering on the walls at this time of year as well
We then drove back through Truro to the Royal Cornwall Hospital where Jim went to have his eye examination - fortunately it wasn't a torn retina, unfortunately,  it was just old age and he'll have to learn to live with it !
