Monday

Funny day with patches of cloud alternating with blue sky and sunshine
Scarlet Pimpernel and Speedwells are appearing everywhere
Sea Bindweed is covering the patches of the killed off field that haven't got Thistles
New Electric cable pole going in today - wonder if we'll have to go without power when they connect it
Amazing how the whole scene over the fields has changed in a metter of a couple of weeks
Cloud had again covered the sun and it was a little cooler as we walked the dogs
Spotted a bright orange butterfly (as we thought) flitting around, I fired off around 50 shots as it was not staying in one place for more than a couple of seconds.  Had to look it up and it's a Scarlet Tiger Moth
 Orange really was that bright

Pity that the sun had gone
We walked up the road and spotted that this had appeared in the garden of The Victoria
Wondered if Whitey Magpie had moved on as we hadn't seen it for a few days, but this evening there it was on next doors roof
