Sunday

Not a great start and the Met Office forecast wasn't good - but XC weather said sun !
and XC weather were right - it turned into a beautiful warm sunny day
High cloud in the afternoon - Mackerel Sky telling us it's going to change

As we set off on our dog walk it was looking as though we'd left it too late
The young cattle in the field at Trebarvah walked across the field - they're only small and seem to be very calm and placid and paid us no attention
The thousands of Thistles are getting ready for the next windy day

Thousands more little Cauliflower plants have gone in over at Trevean - together with the gas powered bunny scarer - fortunately it doesn't scare a couple of gun dogs !
A big layer of dark cloud was rising up from the East over Acton Castle
 Lovely field of Barley
 Calm water around Cudden Point
Huge numbers of Gatekeeper butterflies around
Lovely flowers on the wall alongside the track as we walk towards the coast from Trevean
View from the top of the hill above Trevean Cove
Wooster found a good viewing spot
Wonderful fresh and bright Painted Lady - must be a "proper Cornish" version as they usually look much paler. The first ones that arrive from North Africa can in the right conditions give rise to a Cornish generation - and they love Thistles !  Boy did they find the right area !
 A real beauty
Even with so much cloud it was still warm and bright

Walking back up the path from the coast to Trebarvah
and back down the hill towards home
The band of cloud almost merging in with the sea
At the end of the day - a lovely pink Cudden Point
The sunsets are creeping back towards our line of vision !
