After Lunch

After lunch we walked along the road to the old Penlee Lifeboat House and took this of the Memorial Garden
Amazing how busy it had got down on the sand
Tide was rising and water was racing in through the gaps
It was really hot now, so we had an ice cream and the dogs each had the end of a cornet
Jim walked along the quay to take some shots
Really busy down at the other end
 Harbour beginning to fill up
 Wooster enjoying the view
Since the Service and blessing of the lifeboats wasn't until after 6pm we decided that we needed to walk the dogs to somewhere that we could left them off - so back up Raginnis Hill we went
The view from the field behind the houses was magnificent and really clear in the late afternoon sun
and I don't think we've ever seen home as clearly either
