Saturday - a trip to the Stithians Showground to the Cornish Steam and Country Fair

Unfortunately we were rather late arriving as we'd had lots of problems up at Oamaru that needed sorting before the next visitors arrived
Bit embarrassing to park the old Freelander behind this amazing Audi  R8
The engine is positioned behind the driver & passenger with a glass screen between and as you can see it is also visible through the rear window phew !
We arrived just as the Austin 7 Club were leaving the parade ring - quite an unusual one !
Many of them are named - this one is Susan !

 Making hurdles ?
 Woosters favourite photos
Samson - he really was big and evidently very noisy early in the morning
 Puffing Devil 1801
 The Lizard Heavy Horses
Just a couple of favourites from the large number of classic cars - this Rolls Royce was in stunning condition

and looking beautiful inside as well
 A C Cobra
 Immaculate engine
I just like this one - Rather like the one that Abby has in NCIS
 White Steam Car
Looks like a really old one

Whistling Billy - 1905-1912  a Steam Powered Racing Car

Huge number of the static old engines - this little pump was causing much fascination when you first looked at it
