Saturday

Not a great start to the day with a large long shower cloud approaching
Jim was quite sure that he could get up the hill and back before the rain arrived
The dogs didn't seem to be in a hurry
and I gather that they almost got back dry - but not quite
It wasn't too long before it was passing over and blue sky was appearing
 Off it went heading East
Later on when I was up at Oamaru Barn I spotted Gry Maritha passing Penlee Quarry - hopefully carrying the container that was accidentally left on the St Mary's quay yesterday.  Luggage for around 30 people - fortunately a very rare occurrence.
It turned into a really good day - Jim mowed the lawn and I strimmed around the edges

I then popped down to Sainsbury's and back to Oamaru briefly and the sky was looking very dramatic again
By the time we walked the dogs we had sunshine to the South and black clouds to the West again

Lugger Happy Return taking a turn around the bay this afternoon
Not quite sunset, but I think the sun went down behind a dark cloud
