Tuesday - Streatley, Berkshire

We managed to load the car before the rain arrived - it started just as we were leaving at 8.10am and it poured with rain all the way to Berkshire - terrible conditions on the roads. Walked the dogs in the woods as it was a bit drier in there - then the rain stopped !
Super dinner of Cornish Hake for me and Jim had - yes ! half a Cornish Lobster - what a pair !
Forecast not great, but the Thames footpath is not as muddy as we expected

  1. It looks lovely - like something out of the Wind in the Willows. I am so glad that Cornish seafood is being sold and appreciated upcountry too. I'm in the throes of booking for a trip to Cornwall in late September, so I hope there is an Indian summer this year.
