Since tomorrows walk to Newlyn had been postponed until the end of October when there's every chance that the weather will be even worse, Wooster and I decided to walk to Newlyn today, since we have already been sponsored to do it ! If it does go ahead in October we will happily do it again - we need the exercise !

We usually walk down this hill - it was quite steep and long to walk up
At the top, Jim and Tilly went right - and back to Perranuthnoe
Whilst Wooster and I went onwards to the Churchyard and the road down into Marazion
We were passed by Karen from Trenow Dairy who was on her milk delivery round

Well done on your lonesome walk ! I'm glad they have repaired the footpath to Newlyn I can manage that.....it's nice and flat ! We think the Indian Summer is due in October ! we can only hope ! It seems to be getting dark quickly.....better add torches to the list ! although it's always lighter in the west ,make sure we have plenty to read.Thanks Sue for all the super photo's.macca.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed our walkies - and as you say The Prom and Newlyn Green are a nice easy flat walk - my knee has not complained at all - I did wear my Sketcher memory foam shoes - really comfy and good to walk in, but sadly not waterproof, so it will soon be back to chunkier footwear. Many thanks for your donation - very good of you - have sent you an email this evening if you can find it on your Windows 10 - have been wondering whether to or not !
DeleteWould say good torch would be a good idea as well as warm clothing as it's got really chilly - although it could warm up again and I really hope it does ! Sue
