Looking back along the beautiful coastline to the Southerly Point
Bass Point NCI - with a stunning view !
 More Hummingbird Hawkmoths

And lots of Butterflies mainly Small Tortoiseshell
 Met this lovely Australian Kelpie
I told Jim that having a large Mint/Choc Ice Cream after his Crab Sandwich would be too much !
No lovely looking vessels out there today - just this car carrier California Highway
Arriving above the Lizard Lifeboat Station
We watched this family clambering up the 200 steps after visiting the station and I thought - No Way !
But in the end we couldn't resist it - what a place  !  and the superb Tamar Class Lifeboat Rose
We were a bit worried about what the dogs would think about going back up the 200 steps - in the event, off went Tilly at a heck of a rate with Jim hanging on behind and me not far off with Wooster - a faster ascent that we had intended - we'll see what knees and muscles are like in the morning !
Photo of a photo of a launch
The lovely Church Cove - The big house - The Cellars is evidently a holiday home now
Jim spent several happy holidays in the left hand cottage when he was a lad - such a stunning view
We then walked back to Lizard Village for a refreshing cup of tea and yes, and Eton or Lemon Meringue Pie ! Not sure we walked enough !
When I drove into the drive the Valerian was covered in Small Tortoiseshell Butterflies
A proper sunset for a change

  1. If you mean the house to the left in your picture, it's a holiday let - or at least part of it is: http://www.churchcove.co.uk/index.html
Still very much in use by the looks of things :-)
