We collected the rucsak from the car and then set off to walk up to Gwennap Head - passing Porthgwarra Cove
Which I have to say was not looking it's best, with the dreaded seaweed at the waters edge
Nice Cornish Crabber Yawl, Kindred Spirit passed by as we walked up the footpath
NCI Gwennap Head - sadly not much going on out at sea today - we saw Gry Maritha come past and a few small fishing boats
We sat right up at the top and had a cup of tea - amazing to be that warm up there, it's usually rather windy
Lots of Fungi growing up there - slightly Puff Ball looking - not very good at identification

I wouldn't have thought they'd be in such an exposed spot !
Tilly wondering if we're going round again !  We took the right hand path which goes up and round the back where the dogs can enjoy themselves
After we got home the light started to change
No sunset due to cloud, but there was a little colour

  1. The heather and gorse look spectacular. I hope all this good weather stays until we get there on the 27th.

    1. That's a long time in UK weather terms - might not last until the end of the week - at one stage they were forecasting rain for Sunday - this seems to have changed now. The longer range forecast is at least saying warmer than average weather - which is nice as we've had a cold Summer, apart from a few odd days ! Thanks for the donation they're almost up to £100,000 so halfway there ! Sue
