PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

 With rain expected later on this afternoon I took the dogs on a nice long walkies this morning
 The ladies were  relaxing on the top field along with their fella
 No problems with the granite stepping stones today as their was no sun, so no shadows
 Sadly rather a grey and hazy day
 Nice little Mallow on the field
 Looking back to Trenow
 Ripening Blackberries everywhere !
 More work on The Causeway to The Mount - hope that this lorry driver didn't try to drive back over the beach like one did earlier in the year !
 Pity there isn't any blue sky & sea

 Nice big beach, but not really a beach kind of day !
 About the only way to enjoy the windy beach !

 Peppercorn is only open at weekends now and then only 10am - 3pm
Later in the afternoon from Trebarvah, with the expected rain on the way - and at the moment it's hammering onto the windows - hopefully it will be gone by morning

    Blackberry season should be in full swing when we get there, so I hope I have some apples on my tree for crumbles. Such a shame that the Peppercorn is going to be sold as I enjoyed the meringue I had with you. You are lucky to have good food in the village, and this time I am determined to try the Victoria as we get fed up with the Red Lion and Ferryboat.

      Seem to remember there's a saying about not picking Blackberries after the end of September - no idea why - they're ripening fast, should get nice and juicy as rain is expected this week ! You should try to book The Victoria if possible as they can get very busy as it is quite small !
