SAR helicopter came storming over the house this morning
Landing craft Arromanches heading out of Newlyn and heading for Falmouth with more  equipment from the works to lengthen the quay on St Mary's IOS
I walked the dogs over the hill to Trenow
and onwards towards Marazion Cemetery - on a very calm morning as you can see from the water around The Causeway
Very calm Mount's Bay
Maen-dhu Point
Looking good down there
Just a couple of body boarders in the water
and a family enjoying the beach
We drove round to just past Newlyn to walk into Mousehole - passing the Penlee Lifeboat Station where I was the other day
PZ36 the famous Hake boat Ajax heading out on another trip
 Fisheries Patrol vessel St Piran
Almost ready for Halloween
Gry Maritha heading out to Scilly - hopefully to fill up the shelves in the Co-op
Bite Adventures passing Mousehole
Sadly a huge dark cloud had arrived over Mousehole and the lack of wind meant that it wasn't moving much at all.  We called in at the  'Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning/Tea at the Royal British Legion - pleased to say it was heaving with people and and the cakes looked wonderful - but we had the dogs with us, so I sought out a  collection box and then we left.
The lower path from the car park
And Yes !  back to The Rock Pool Cafe
for tea and cake
Shearwater II came past - using engines as there was still little wind in The Bay
The super yacht Venture out of Newlyn - always looks immaculate

7.06pm and there it goes - nearly missed it

The moon is going to get a lot of attention over the weekend !
