From Penlee Branch RNLI
Owing to the weather conditions on Sunday Patch has advised putting off the sponsored walk. So we have decided to try again on Sunday 25th October. Hopefully this will be able to take place. As always weather permitting! as it's a coastal walk we have to consider the conditions.
Really disappointed - weather forecast is for wind and some rain, but it's not as though we were climbing a mountain - just walking mainly on pavements and made up footpaths - have been able to alter the date on the Sponsorship Account  & obviously Wooster and I will keep up the walking training and hopefully the weather might be better on 25th October - although I'll not be holding my breath !  In the meantime many, many thanks for all your generosity !

    1. Many thanks for your donation - the deed will be done at some point ! Not sure that putting it off until late October was the thing to do, but obviously everyone has other things on. We shall see.
Been reading about the fact that there is no bus on St Mary's now - think you may want to hire a buggy to get around on St Mary's - they look like good fun ! Sue
