Monday - Another day out - to Porthgwarra

A beautiful calm morning with the sea looking like glass
Wooster wondering where he's going today !
The colours changing just before we left - we're busy the rest of the week, so wanted to make the most of the warm sunshine
Wooster and Tilly not quite as energetic as yesterday
We were hoping that at least some of the Heather was still out and fortunately as we walked our usual path around the back - to keep the dogs away from the edge, there was lots still in flower as well as some Gorse
 Looking lovely
Some areas more Gorse than Heather
 Looking over towards Longships Lighthouse

All Wooster needs is some Grouse in amongst the Heather

We've seen this wonderful part of the coast in many different weather conditions, but never as calm as this !
Closer view of Longships Lighthouse on a very calm day
Gwennap Head with the NCI Station on the top
We're always amazed how many people take this tricky footpath down from Gwennap Head - it really is close to the edge, but not quite as dramatic as it appears on the photo

    1. Not quite so fine today - bit windy and I had to go to Truro anyway, so Jim was in charge of the dog walking ! Pity that our Indian Summer only lasted for 2 days ! Sue
