Tuesday

Lovely fine morning - but a little cool at the top of the hill !

Massive beach today due to the Spring Tides
Penlee Lifeboat Ivan Ellen crossing a shimmering Mount's Bay on this afternoon's shout they joined
The Lizard & Falmouth lifeboats, HMS Somerset, and Rescue 193, in the search for a missing diver 5 miles south of the Lizard Point. The diver, who had activated a personal locater beacon, was eventually found by HMS Somerset and airlifted to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth by Rescue 193. This was a very well coordinated rescue by HM Coastguard, Falmouth. The fact that the diver was wearing appropriate safety equipment aided the search and led to a successful conclusion. Team work at its best !
Beautiful afternoon - sorry about the "blobs"  Thank goodness my camera is on its way back from the repairers and the old one can go back into the box to join all the other discarded cameras
 Really did look that good
Rather more cloud by this afternoon

The Church clock was striking 8pm as I took these - Oh dear the nights are drawing in
