Sunday

Odd looking early morning and I wasn't sure which way the clouds were moving
Really clear looking out at the horizon towards Ro Ro Cargo vessel Cellandine
Good view as SAR came zooming past to do a fly past of the Santa Run in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care
Setting off on our walk and the cloud was lifting
Sudden flash of sun onto The Mount
Penzance Sailing Club out in the bay
Still looking rather grey behind The Mount
But it was looking much better looking South over Boat Cove
Maen-du Point this morning
Plenty of beach today

Rather flat and wet, but those rocks are still fairly well covered
Wonder what is going to be opening here ! - the bottom part of the Craft Shop building
By the time we got home there was lots of blue sky
I spent the next few hours decorating the Christmas Tree on the balcony and putting the rope lights onto the balcony rail - rather a disappointment as I'd had to buy all new lights as last years stopped working towards the end. The new blue rope light actually looks turquoise when it's lit and in the dark - not the blue I wanted.
We then set off fairly early on our walk as it was looking rather lovely

Sadly the sun went down behind this long cloud
Wolf Rock Lighthouse in the pink
Nice view of the village as we walk down the lane from Trebarvah

We went down to the ramp above the beach to watch for a while
Some nice reflections onto the water

Sorry struggled to choose which ones !

The it suddenly it went down behind some thicker cloud
Then it was gone
Lovely little tiny slither of a moon
The tree on the balcony

  1. WOW what gorgeous photo's today. What a beautiful sunset, and your balcony lights and tree look great. Pleased to see that Father Christmas has been good to Tilly and Wooster they will be so snug and warm in their new beds. HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU BOTH. Looking forward to opening the new calendar in a couple of weeks time.
