Wednesday

After a windy night we awoke to a roaring sea with some of the largest waves we've seen for quite a while
Sadly it was still very grey and damp, so no lovely colours in the water as seen from the balcony
The big swell rolling down the side of Cudden Point
I kept popping out onto the balcony if I saw a big set of waves, whilst also trying to get on with some Christmas preparations as I'm falling really behind

Once the rain had stopped, Jim took the dogs up the hill - this shot shows the way the waves were all the way along from Maen-du to Cudden Point
 Misty and gloomy again

A very brief moment of brightness out at sea at around lunchtime - but soon it was gone
Wooster and Tilly not exactly looking thrilled at plodding back up the hill this afternoon - weather never got any better
Waves were not quite as big, but still right across the bay !
and back home again

  1. Exciting to see those waves rolling in and noisy too, I guess! Looks like it's dark early. However it's almost the shortest day for you, so looking forward now:)

  2. When it's grey and cloudy it really does seem to start to get dark very early - we have to go out earlier and earlier - still as you said soon we will gain a few minutes of light each day ! Can't wait !
