Friday

Boat Cove Lane again this morning - sorry, but it's a walk that's not quite as muddy as some of the other footpaths !
 Closeup of The Castle

Tide just starting to expose the beach
Since it was another really low tide this afternoon we decided to go down and take a look. Sure enough there was a sandy island out there - just about to be covered by the tide

Looking West it really has changed totally
Not seen it looking like this before
Sun was still popping in and out of the clouds
This is the part of the cliff that we thought had gone down as we can see from home it looks different
Old mine addit is still open - with a beach sculpture in front
More cliff falls at this end

Nice !

This is the cliff alongside the path from Maen-dhu Point - thought we were a lot closer to the edge than we used to be
We went to take a look at this reddish rock - I now wonder if it might be solidified sediment from an old mine addit  - since there are two or three "Red Rivers" so called because the water was always red from the mine waste and Perranuthnoe does have quite a mining history

Really nice late afternoon and we were nice and sheltered from the wind at this end of the beach

Moon looking a little bigger tonight
The sunset is moving to  the right already
Jim did a nice job on the lawn today
Today's Emirates flight Milan to JFK flying at 37,000ft
