Saturday - not a day to remember !

It was a day of heavy rain with a few bright patches in the sky

There wasn't much time between one lot of rain and the next
The footpath beneath the garden was waterlogged again as Jim walked the dogs up the hill
Not very nice at all
Water was streaming down the hill from the fields
Straight down the footpath
The next lot out there to the SW

They made it back before the next rain, but Wooster and Tilly were very muddy - especially Wooster of course !
Popped out onto the balcony when I spotted some brightness
Well someone saw some sun out there !
Looks like some of the cliff heading out to sea

Continual layers of cloud
The swell rolling up Cudden Point again
Thought that this shot said it all - Rain lashing onto the window with a tiny patch of blue sky and some colour from the sun, which was hiding away today !

  1. Seems like a day to stay close to home.

    1. Sure was, I had been planning to go into Pz. but thought better of it. Had some thunder out at sea as well as the rain. Shouldn't complain, we're not flooded, it's just the plodding around in the mud is really nasty ! Sue
