Wednesday

 Just before sunrise

The sun catching some of the windows over in Mousehole
Soon the sun did come out and we were looking forwards to a fine morning -but we had to decided on the tiles for the pool first !
We had arranged to look at the swimming pool at Una, Carbis Bay, this amazing new holiday development
They kindly showed us around so that we could look at the tiles that the people that are doing our Swimming pool renovation had installed. It's a stunning pool & Spa and we decided that the tiles were worth the extra we will have to pay
We then carried on to the car park above Porthmeor Beach St Ives, changed into our dog walking gear and took the dogs West along the footpath
 Wonderful waves

The Tate Gallery is closed for the new extension to be built behind
The Island - although it isn't really an island - The NCI watch is up there and it was from there that the Humpback Whales were spotted a couple of weeks ago
I  love the skies on the north coast
Looking over The Island towards Godrevy Lighthouse

 Quite an unusual cloud formation

Think these might be a couple of Razorbills or Guillemots
Superb view over St Ives towards the other side of St Ives Bay
Lots of water running down the hills - they've done some work here to hold up the footpath and run the drain underneath

 The sky looking North

  1. It looked like a beautiful day, and St Ives is always a pleasure to visit off season.

    1. It was a super day - sadly the cloud came in rather quickly and by mid afternoon it was all grey - again. Still, we've had a fine day today and any sunny day is a bonus at the moment !
