Thursday - 19th February

Fine morning - but there were shower clouds looming

 The surfers were back
Must try to find out if there are now new phone lines - keep seeing the men working
The sea really was this deep blue
Wooster likes this view from above Boat Cove as much as I do
Noisy Chaffinch looking smart for Spring

Still a little beach left
Spotted this Diver - didn't think it looked like a Cormorant - but might have been ! !

Quite a big fall down on the beach

The foundations to the extension of The Cabin Beach Cafe are coming on well
Nice sky as I walk back up the fields to home.
After lunch I popped into Penzance and then round through Newlyn and parked along the road - just before I got to Mousehole
Looking across the bay to Perranuthnoe whilst I waited for the Penlee Lifeboat Ivan Ellen and the new Coastguard Helicopter to arrive for a planned exercise
We had a couple of nasty showers whilst we were waiting, but they cleared for the big event !
I'll do a separate album of the photos
Jim, Nick and the dogs set out for the afternoon walkies - bravely tackling the slippery hill
The Coastguard Helicopter heading back to Newquay

Trinity House vessel Galatea making her way across the bay to anchor off Penzance
Lots of surfers this afternoon

Nice end to the day
