Wednesday

Rain all night and all morning - I took the opportunity of putting the replacement light fitting up in the dining room - 2 months without a proper light - not easy  as the glass is so heavy - after fixing up the fitting I needed Jim to hold the glass whilst I did up the bolts !
You can always tell when the surfers are around !
Once the rain had stopped I decided to take the dogs for one longer walk instead of two shorter ones
The surfers were out on the reef at Basore Point

We then looped round and onto the upper path that leads towards Marazion Cemetery
One of the surfers had got himself stuck on the wet field - shouldn't have been there in the first place - he was eventually towed out by a friend
Quite a lot of Gorse in flower now we've had some sunshine
I heard this Sea King come past as I was walking down the hill behind a hedge - fortunately Jim spotted it and got a couple of photos - they were filming for BBC Spotlight

As I looped back round onto Boat Cove Lane I could see they were still surfing and yet more were arriving to join them

The Amphibious vehicle was in use for the visitors to The Mount today

Back in Perran there were still plenty of waves

The sun was there somewhere
Amazing to see how far along the hills the sun is setting
Nice pink reflection to the SE
Jim spotted this from the kitchen and dashed out to take a shot
Starting to fade
