 Opened the curtains to the cargo vessel Nordic all lit up by the sun. They were waiting for conditions to improve before making their way round Lands End and onwards to Dublin

 Yet again huge shower clouds were looming, so I just took the dogs up the hill

 The Western side of Mount's Bay was getting the worst of the rain

 Just a hint of a rainbow

 Which got a little larger

 I was standing on the farmyard chatting when the light changed again

 The Mount starkly lit amongst the black rain clouds

 Making our way back down the hill, with the long line of rain clouds out to the West

 Almost home - and nice and dry !

 I then popped up to Oamaru Barn to deliver some logs - ready for the new visitors

 Not long after I got home we had a massive hail shower

 During the afternoon the shower clouds came over us - creating some wonderful lighting

 I was down in the poolhouse clearing up the dust - just had to take a photo

 Sadly this came just before more torrential rain

 Jim took the dogs for another trip up the hill - hoping to keep dry

 Everywhere was streaming with water

 But at least they got home dry

and by the time they got home the hose was in the pool and the big fill was beginning - it's going to take a while !
