Saturday

Mount's Bay gig rowers in the training gig St Aubyn came past early this morning - training hard for the World Championships on Scilly over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend - not long now !
Sadly our week from hell had continued - during yesterday evening Tilly became very unwell - asking to go down to the garden constantly - we recognised the symptoms as she's had it before - a bladder infection - probably caused by her trip to the beach - that's why we don't go very often !
Meanwhile I had developed a full blown cold and was coughing and sneezing all night in the lounge as I needed to look after Tilly.  I managed to get an appointment at the Vets for 10am.
When I got to the Vets they were apologising for the fact that they all had coughs and colds - Hmm !  If you remember I took Wooster there on Wednesday for his booster shots, so it's all his fault !
A lonely Wooster wondering where Tilly is and if she's OK - she was !  We came home with Antibiotics and anti-inflamatories and Wooster was really pleased to see her.
She's loving her gentle diet of fish & rice and Wooster is really jealous as it smelled good !

  1. Awh poor Tilly. I hope she's better soon. We both have coughs and colds. I highly recommend Strepsils cough and throat I felt like I was swallowing sandpaper for a while until I got some.

    1. Tilly seems fine this morning - enjoyed her scrambled eggs & rice for breakfast. I'm doing my best not to pass the lurgy on to Jim as he would be even worse than me, due to his asthma. So far so good ! Sue

    1. It was only after I got it that I heard how many people have either had it or got it - trying my best not to pass it on to Jim. Tilly quite perky this morning and will probably have a short walkies today - coat on as it's only 6c here at the moment. Trying not to think about Scilly yet - was hoping to get some swimming done before then or it will have to be a whole new wardrobe he he ! Sue
