Saturday

A wild and windy morning with rain fast approaching - didn't think I'd have much time before it arrived
I quickly  took the dogs up the hill
I spotted Scillonian III backing out of Lighthouse Pier - you can see the waves smashing into the harbour wall
She went backwards quite a way, before turning around
Off she went - rather slowly

She took 3 hours and 20 minutes - looking at her speed it seems that the worst part of the trip was Penzance towards Lands End - but must have felt like a very long trip
Yesterdays sunshine has brought some of our Blackthorn around the field into flower
Most of the day was then really terrible with wind and heavy rain - fortunately later on in the afternoon, the clouds parted so I took the opportunity to get out with the dogs
The Greeb Rocks got their pressure wash

The sun shining onto Cudden Point with black sky behind

Wooster wasn't too sure what Ear Force it was
 But he wasn't keen !
 The view from Maen-dhu Point

The waves rolling towards the beach
