Thursday

 Beautiful morning - as forecast
Over the gate as we set off for morning walkies
Got to Boat Cove Lane and saw this super sight - Trinity House vessel Galatea and the Tall Ship Bessie Ellen with lots of sail up
Wonderful sight as she sailed closer to The Mount
Sadly she turned before she got really close was in the shade of a cloud

Quite a lot of cloud around

Sailing down the bay towards Mousehole

Galatea heading out past the old Penlee Quarry
The turf had arrived at The Cabin
Ground had been prepared and off the went
Blackthorn buds are bursting into flower
Afternoon walkies and a lovely Ceanothus
Less cloud and even more sunshine

 Fairly low tide

Fishing right out on the end of Maen-dhu Point
Calm blue bay from Maen-dhu Point
Oh dear ! even more seaweed has arrived

and the tea garden down at The Cabin is just awaiting the tables
Very bright sun again until it sank into this cloud

    1. Really was a special day - so glad that the visitors had a day of blue skies and seas - spent a lot of time on that walk telling people about the lovely Bessie Ellen. Sadly the weather has been nasty all day - we were just on the edge of a rain band that keeps moving East then West again.
