Wednesday

Just as I was setting out with the dogs the cloud rolled away and there was some nice blue sky
 Up the hill to Trebarvah
This small building was very solid, going to take a while to demolish
Since there are no cattle on the top field I walked the dogs over the fields towards Trevean

Wondered why Wooster was struggling with this nasty stile - turned out there was a dead Bunny down there !
 Acton Castle
It's all go go go on the potato planting now that the fields have dried out a bit
 Very calm morning again
Looking back to Perranuthnoe from the top of the hill at Trevean
Quite a number of Spring Squills appearing

 A few Violets as well
Always love to see these Narcissus growing on the wall here - sadly there is now too much bramble to get the photo we used to get
The path up to Trebarvah was just about passable

Back down the hill to home
Buzzards were out enjoying the thermals again today
It had clouded over a bit by the time I was walking the dogs this afternoon

Tide was well in - right up to the bottom of the cliff
Wow, The Cabin almost ready for the grand re-opening tomorrow !
As I was watching for the sunset I noticed yet another Gorse fire out on the Penwith Moors

Looking very dramatic for a while
 Then it started to fade

  1. The cabin looking good for it's re-opening. I guess there will be lots of people around at Easter. On your walk, did you go almost as far as Prussia Cove?

    1. No didn't get very far really - not even as far as Cudden Point - energy levels not back to where they were as I'm still wasting energy coughing.
Sadly just a short walk before the rain today - better tomorrow, then a really horrible forecast for the Easter weekend - gales and some more rain. Such a pity.

    2. Sorry you are still suffering. Sounds like the cough that has been going the rounds here. My daughter took a while to shake it off. Had to take a course of antibiotics.

    3. Yes I'm still coughing every now and then, but Jim is behind me and still at the worst stage and his bad chest isn't helping. Lots of good old herbal remedies being taken.
