Friday

Took the dogs out fairly early this morning as there was a band of rain approaching Scilly
Rather grey, but not as much wind
Tide still going out this morning - gather that the Hudsonian Whimbrel was down there again - several happy Bird Watchers. The Pacific Diver was out beyond The Greeb.
RNLI Relief Penlee Lifeboat Osier out on an engine test
The Blackthorn is starting to flower alongside the coastal footpath

These Echiums alongside The Churchway footpath are starting to shoot upwards - ready to flower !
Happy dogs in West Cornwall still allowed on the beaches until May 1st (except St Ives)
Since we are an equal opportunities household, Jim went out to to the big weekly shopping and I mowed the lawn as it was getting really long in places and the forecast was for rain later
The walls and floor might need re-painting, but the water temperature had reached my personal favourite level 90f and the chemical balance and PH were just right, so I went in for my first swim of the year - 64 lengths. Unfortunately my Garmin Vivofit only counts my steps, so I'm 597 off my goal of 11,000 steps a day - darn it !
