Monday

Heavy rain when I took the dogs down to the garden first thing, but I took this just after 9am and it was looking better
The forecast was for more showers and as you can see we'd already had a lot of rain
I walked the dogs up to Trebarvah
Still plenty of heavy looking clouds out to the West

We then walked round to Ednovean
and back down to the village
Lovely Magnolia just coming into flower
The day was looking much more promising that we'd first thought
During the afternoon I spotted Bessie Ellen sailing back down the bay
 A lovely fine afternoon
Mermaid II going round The Mount as we walked the dogs

Nice clump of Spring Squills out on Maen-dhu Point - there were people out there who had been watching some Dolphins - sadly they were too far away for us to see
Almost high tide
Some nice clean waves

As we were heading for home I noticed Bessie Ellen motoring across The Bay - making for Fowey - hope she returns soon
Later on I saw something flash in the water and it was these Dolphins heading West across the bay - sorry taken from the balcony

I was eating my dinner and one moment the sun was too bright and the next it had gone !

  1. I guess the rain will ease as time goes on. You seem to have had lots these past months. Looking at your Met. Office chart, tomorrow looks good.
Today our maximum is to be 29C, but it's all down hill from tomorrow. The Met. Bureau says this will be the last hot day for another six months!
Hope you are both well and over the coughs and dental issues.

    1. Coughs are gradually getting less and less thanks !
Sadly we're losing the warmer weather in the next few days - back to Winter boots and trousers again ! Hope your weather is only just a little cooler, suppose you're almost into Autumn now ! Sue
