Friday

Another damp day with rain approaching as I took the dogs down Boat Cove Lane

Wall Butterfly down on the ground
I'm amazed to see these Sea Pinks so low down on the Point - will check whether they get drowned in the next Spring Tides
They manage to cling on anywhere

 Big empty beach
 Mallow by the footpath
 Love these flowers
I then waited in for the delivery of this - my early Birthday present
Panasonic DMC-FZ330 - really an update of my previous one. One or two features that I don't like - must read the instruction book !
Whistling Jacks (Gladiolus Byzantium) have had a hard time in the wind and rain. But there's so many of them still to appear
Seabeam, conducting a survey in Mount's Bay
Cargo vessel Arklow Bank at anchor in the mist off Mousehole
The Valerian is doing well along this Cornish Hedge

The way down to Boat Cove
Two mature ladies - Fern and Tilly
Maen-dhu Point looking better each day
High tide this evening

    1. Whistling Jacks are everywhere down here in Cornwall - like you we love them. So pleased we have a garden where they seem to do well.
Suitcases not yet out, but have started to prepare the box of dog food that I will post to Scilly as they can't get it for me like they used to.
Would like some warmer weather before we go - or else we might be tempted to take the big coats again ! Sue
