Sunday

Still very few butterflies around as Jim took the dogs out this morning
He was hoping to take the dogs over the cattle field and onwards to Trevean - but the cattle were all standing right in the gateway - so change of plan
He went down the path that links Trebarvah to the coastal footpath - just one or two Early Purple Orchids left - but almost finished

The sun was behind some thin high cloud, but it was still nice and warm
The cold Spring has delayed the Foxgloves, but they are appearing all over the place now
The view from the top of the hill at Trevean
Looking towards Cudden Point from Trevean

Cars on the overflow parking field for the first time this year
HM Coastguard SAR helicopter
A few waves for the bodyboarders
Lovely Swallow on the wires
The long walk back along the causeway

Boat Cove
Seen this several times out on Maen-dhu Point think it might be a Rock Pipit - well it was standing on a rock !
Still lots of people down on the beach

Parent Crow keeping an eye on what's going on
Junior Crow that came out of the nest is still alive - we put it onto a rock amongst the ferns and I must admit Jim has given it some food - I left some in a dish last night and by this morning Mum & Dad had found both chick and food - don't know if it will stand a chance.  Problem is that I think we are now feeding the whole family !
