Tuesday - a very surprising day

Misty but warm morning as I walked down Boat Cove Lane
The big guy with his ladies
Boat Cove
A very misty Mount
It had got much brighter whilst I had been out
Suddenly the mist cleared and there was a lovely blue sky and it was hot - not the day we were expecting at all
The guys are back working on the Church Wall restoration
As we set off with the dogs we could see that the bank of mist was rolling towards us. We then set off in glorious sunshine, but to the sound of the fog horn of the LPG tanker out in the bay
Marine Discovery's Shearwater II looking like a scene from a film as they approach the fog
 In they went
and the mist was moving quickly
Looking like smoke as it wafted in, but I think that the heat from the sun was burning it off
Our cameras struggled to show the mist
So I changed to  Impressive Art for a few

Looks like The Mount was surrounded for a while
Super view from up at Trebarvah
Joe Constable making the decision - more photos or go surfing
Really was quite a sight

  1. In the mist this looks like the fabled Isle of Avalon....

    1. Yes it did look amazing and quite unexpected - we'd got used to the gloomy weather.
