Wednesday

My lovely birthday Isles of Scilly flowers from sister Pat & brother in law Howard.
We were expecting a grey and cloudy day, but we got some nice blue sky and sunshine
Jim took the dogs up the hill

I went into Penzance
Treated myself to a cappuccino at The Old Lifeboat House Bistro
Really love this beautifully renovated old building
The Fisherman's Mission have a Pop-up shop at the top of Market Jew Street
Posing for photos as he collected donations
Super model and lots of other info on the walls
Afternoon walkies with Tilly standing under some of the Libertia Grandiflora which are looking much better now
Noticed these little flowers every year as they flower on top of a wall - just found them in my Wild Flower Book - they're Rosy Garlic - non native
Clouds out to the West whilst we were in bright sunshine
Windswept clouds looking North

Bit of coaching !

Think she enjoyed that !

We then went to Porthleven for a meal at The Square cooked by chef Stewart  Eddy  who used to be at The Victoria
A little bit of the sunset from the car park

    1. Hello - did have a good day and the sun was a real bonus. Last year my Scilly flowers were only thrown on the bonfire just before we left for Scilly.
Even more sunshine today - hope it doesn't all go pear-shaped just as the first really big holiday week arrives ! Bye Sue
