Jim in charge of dog walking today as he is hopefully on the mend whilst I'm a few days behind him and still coughing and sneezing
The lush growth has been knocked lower by the rain
Going off-road today
Real all terrain vehicle
Not many on the beach
I popped into Penzance for more medication
The Harbour was looking calm and blue
Afternoon walkies and more ploughing
Amazing to see the cattle fields growing like this now the girls aren't there to keep munching
Busy busy
Nice fine end to the day
Down in the garden the first of the big Seneccio has burst into flower
This beautiful Honeysuckle doesn't have many flowers, but they are lovely
Found these Brodea flowering - bulbs from Scilly
Wooster checking out the field which looks like it's been seeded
Tilly looking rather stern - wondering what Wooster is up to
Wonder what is going to be planted up there under the netting
Sorry to read that you are in the throes of another cold, or is it the same one?
ReplyDeleteThe country is looking lovely. Brave man taking on the bumpy terrain, but worth it for the beautiful views.
Love your garden flowers, especially honeysuckle . . . gorgeous perfume.
Get better soon!
Betty
The cold was Jim's fault he he ! he got it first - possibly from the crowded Scillonian - seems to have dried up today - almost got some sleep last night - hoping I can manage to hide it from the dentist - really don't want to have to cancel as the temp. caps are falling apart. Rain this morning, but suddennly blue sky has appeared. Sue
