Another bright and calm morning - a bit hazy looking over to Mousehole. It was the day that the rest of the juvenile Crows fledged - noticed a few clumsy landings as they flew from tree to tree in the garden. They have stayed around and come back to the Pine tree for the night, Poor little Junior is a long way behind
As I drove along Trebarvah Lane to call in at Oamaru Barn I spotted the Lifeboat and Coastguard Helicopter training in the bay
As I was up high and quite a way off the photos are not very good
Looks like winchman and stretcher
Heck of a lot of spray as the helicopter seems to go so low
Jim saw them as he walked the dogs - but he has less zoom on his camera
Blasted Gulls get everywhere and the Rheas don't seem to mind

As I got out of the car at Sainsbury's I spotted the Gyrocopter heading East - good luck to them !
The Wild Charlock is starting to flower - thought not as much as last year
Cheeky Bunnies just not bothered about us, but something had their attention
I really hate this stuff with a vengeance - Spotted Medic (or Medick if you look in some books) This footpath is used all the time, but just look how it's grown right over it - when it dies down later in the year you just get left with slimy mud as the grass all dies beneath it.

As we walked towards home I spotted three Gulls on our roof - they just won't give up !
