Saturday

Another fine start - but more showers expected

So good to see blue sky and blue sea
More cloud to the East having passed over us
and here comes the next shower
Love this view over the village
Taken from Trebarvah as I set off for home after helping with the changeover at Oamaru Barn
More nice sky during the afternoon

The lower fields being given another going over
Love to see the Hydrangeas appearing - they last so long
 Rather a gloomy late afternoon
After we had said Hello to this weeks visitors we noticed a couple of walkers cross the farmyard carrying a large clump of Hottentot Figs - Now ! being the only people who have these in an accessible place we checked our wall when we got home - there it was a large hole - Jim has pushed some from the bottom in there - you don't need any roots - just stick them in some soil.
It's one thing to take a few stems - we know people do that - but this was excessive

    1. Hopefully they won't come back for more ! We're lucky that it thrives here - although the upper wall - along the drive is not very good - didn't like all the cold rainwater that ran off the fields - we'll re-plant now that the Valerian has finished. Had to buy a new PC this week as couldn't keep using the laptop as editing the photos on a smaller screen and the nasty keyboard was driving me mad ! Bought a fancy (but cheap) all in one - which just looks like a moniter - really clever and was on offer at Argos so did well ! Having to learn the slightly different Windows 10 was not as bad as I thought. Sadly never managed to find anyone who could retrieve our emails.
As for the colds - just refuse to go we're still coughing and Jim's athsma makes it worse - hopefully we'll recover in time - so annoying as we usually come back from Scilly and enjoy going out and about before the hoardes arrive he he ! Bye for now
