Report from RNLI Lifeboat - yesterday At 9.30am this morning the all-weather lifeboat 'Ivan Ellen', with Staff
Coxswain Francie Morgan at the helm, and the Inshore lifeboat, 'Paul
Alexander', launched from Newlyn and went to the assistance of a 35m
Dutch vessel 'Het-Boot' which had gone aground on rocks near the old
lifeboat station at Penlee Point - the vessels anchor had parted.
Volunteer crewman, Ben Keogh, was transferred from the Inshore lifeboat on to the 'Het-Boot' to check on the crew and give assistance. Both lifeboats escorted the 'Het-Boot' to Mousehole Harbour so that any damage could be assessed. Looking fine this morning !
