Glorious morning as Scillonian III went out past the LPG Tanker Navigator Copernico
We decided to pack the cough pastilles and go out for a walk at National Trust Penrose
Nice spotty cattle
Everything looking very green and lush after the rather wet weather
After walking between the fields - first sight of the sea
Looking along The coast of The Lizard
The end of Loe Bar
Looking along the coast to Porthleven
Huge number of cattle in the fields alongside the paths
Wooster was a bit unsure about these
Checking out the route - confusing for him as we have been both ways in the past !
Mount's Bay was looking its best
No big waves onto Loe Bar today
He just has to look over the wall
Lovely flowers growing in the stony edge of the path
Kestrel right by us
Looking down at the end of Loe Pool at the bar
We then met this lovely gentle giant - Harlequin Great Dane
People often assume that Wooster is a young Great Dane - she made him look rather small ! Her friend is a rescue Napolitano Mastiff
Into the lovely cool under the trees - Tilly was pleased
Lots of helicopter activity over at RNAS Culdrose
What a feast today ! Wonderful scenery and colours, laughed at Wooster waiting for instructions on which route to take.Did your poppies bloom this year? we had such a variety of colours this year. Thanks Sue.macca.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed the day out - trying to get to some favourite places before the real crowds arrive next week !
DeleteYes the poppies have bloomed - Lots of orange ones and a few surprise red ones - just had to clear a few of the early ones as they were finished. Sue
