Sunday - Moushole for the RNLI Penlee Crew Day

Causing quite a stir in the car park when we arrived were these two Aston Martins and an E type Jaguar. This one is an older Superleggera
 Aston Martin Vantage
and more recognisable the E Type Jag - we saw them later as they drove through Mousehole together
Next thing we see is this lovely little Pointer Nellie
A hauled out Seal on St Clement's Isle
 and another further along
Second one popped its head up !
RNLI Supporters team  preparing to sell the tea and cakes
Tide was still going out
Not the kind of weather we're used to here - usually lots of people on the beach
Demonstration of how to make a Lobster Pot
Only three masted lugger I can think of is Grayhound - she was looking super as she sailed around the bay
We had walked up Raginnis Hill to give the dogs some time off the lead - we heard some talking below us and there was Marine Discovery's Shearwater II
When we got back down to the village the quay was looking a bit busier
The tide had gone well down
The oldest house in the village Keigwin House - think it is split into two now
Shearwater II and Grayhound still out in the bay
Having seen photos of this rubber clad house, I have to say it doesn't look any better in real life !
Tide was starting to come in again - we had taken shelter from the drizzle and rain twice having had a lovely coffee & cake and then sharing a beef bagette - Well  Ok ! !  I did follow that with a brownie and Clotted Cream Jim being good and having another Lemon Drizzle cake
 Still seals on the island
We were hanging around waiting to get a shot of Scillonian III when a couple of Gannets came right in and gave us a wonderful display
Sorry, lots of photos, but we so rarely get the chance to see them this close as we obviously don't have the fish on our side of the bay

There she was on her way back from this morning's trip - gather it was rather lumpy as the sea state was still bad after the storm.
As it was raining again we all sat in the car as we had 45 minutes before the Lifeboats were due - Having off loaded and loaded up again, off she went back to Scilly - due to some cancelled flights and Saturday's cancelled sailing.
The crowds were gathering for the Lifeboats and helicopter to arrive - see the link below if you want to see them
