Thursday

Rather a grey morning with a bit of drizzle, so Jim took the dogs for a quick walk up the hill

A look that says is that it !
Not much of a view today

During the afternoon it cleared off and we could see the
Merlin Rockets racing out in the bay, their National Championships are being hosted by Penzance Sailing Club this week

Afternoon walkies

Not much beach left and it's very unfortunate that we're due gale force winds along with Spring Tides
Spotted Aidavita on the horizon on her way to Fishguard
This Buddleia Globosa is down on the field and totally surrounded by the normal purple ones we'll have to try to expose it a bit more
Young Buzzard has been soaring above us again
Shouting away as usual

The incoming rain - moving very slowly

  1. Just caught up on all your photos from the last few days. Truly spectacular ones of the walk to Prussia Cove and back. You are definitely right about the steps that are taken just doing housework etc, besides a walking day. I look after my 18 month old grandaughter on Wed and Thurs, and I m amazed at my Jawbone recording the steps I take around the house running after her!

    1. Pleased you're enjoying looking after your grandaughter - bet you need a sit down afterwards. Bit stormy last night and a worse one tonight - gales expected, so Scillonian cancelled and doing a double trip on Sunday - not sure that it will be much better then ! Busy time here at the moment, Mousehole Lifeboat Day on Sunday. Sue

  2. Great shot of the dogs looking out from the hedge. They are very well behaved. Sorry the lovely weather has ceased, for the time being anyway.
Hope you are recovering from your dental work, Sue.

    1. Strange that we awoke to wind and a little rain - dussenly cleared and we have a windy but glorious day - followed by a bigger storm on Saturday - hopefully no damage to the coastline, but we have high Spring Tides as well ! Gums are less sore thank goodness, and ulcer almost healed phew ! One more visit ! Sue
