Wednesday

Rather more cloud this morning, but it was starting to clear as Jim walked the dogs over the hill to Trenow
Good to see the fields looking green again
Tilly still managing to walk over the stone steps, but she always has a think first !
Looks like Mount's Bay Sailing Club might be hosting a championship Regatta - website seems to be down so can't check

Just some stones or the ramp to sit on, but hardly a soul around anyway
James Roberts on PZ27 Bonnie Grace - seems keen to enter the Trawler race that will take place at The Fish Festival on Bank Holiday Monday
Jim spotted the Penlee Lifeboat Ivan Ellen racing across the bay on a shout
Whe I got home I spotted them on the way back to Newlyn. Evidently they were called to assist a couple of kayakers who were in difficulties off Loe Bar - by the time they got there several fishing vessels had gone to their assistance - so after checking that the guys were OK the lifeboat headed home and the kayakers taken into Porthleven

Rather liked this sight of paddle boarders on a shimmering sea
Afternoon was quite fine and warm for a while and we were out of the North wind
Walkies and the sky to the West was once again made up of lots of layers of cloud

A few more on the beach
The evening sky as I was doing another barbecue
The sun kept appearing and disappearing

  1. Hello Sue, Hope you and Jim are going well and dental procedures healing.
In the last picture of the beach and beyond, are the brown fields lying fallow at the moment? Also the expanse of field this side of Trebarvah cottages looks like it has been ploughed. Is that for crops? The soil looks a rich red.
Lovely cloud shots and I love the shimmering sea with paddle boarders.
    Betty.

  2. Hello Betty, I'm pleased to say that most of the fields have been planted with little Cauliflower plants - they are a bit too small to show up - soon they will start to look green. The big top field at Trebarvah that was all weeds has been killed off again - assume they'll have another go at seeding it with grass seed again. Teeth doing well - just the new cap to fit next week - hope it fits OK then no more for a while ! Sue
