Sunday

Lovely calm morning as PZ92 was making for one of its pot markers
Lovely little Celtic Bobbin - looks like it has a damaged foot

Jim took the dogs up the hill
Just a rather grey morning
We had some blue sky patches for a while then it started to look rather dark to the South

I had just finished my swim when I noticed that the very dark cloud was moving East
Leaving behind the best part of the day - fine and sunny
The end of the cloud as it moved away
Sadly castle not in focus, but it might be the last photo of a Swallow this year
We walked over the top to Trenow
Wooster and Tilly disturbed this lovely flock of Goldfinches - there's plenty of berries at the moment
Just loved the sky this afternoon
Probably this years juvenile Little Egrets gathered down on the rocks

Not going to be much of this end of The Greeb left at hight tide
Was very concerned to see this young guy fishing out on the end of Maen-dhu Point with an incomming Spring Tide
Along with his faithful friend - wondered whether to shout for him to come in - but have been abused enough for trying to help folk
I was relieved to see him start to make his way back
But the water was racing in between the rocks
and the longer he dithered the deeper it got

His little dog didn't fancy the swim
See how quickly the water deepened - he did manage to get to the higher ground - with a very wet dog
This came flying over our heads

and off it went into the magnificent sky
Some wide angle views of the sky
Jim's panorama

and another lovely sight looking North as wewalked in
Oil/chemical tanker Elka Nokolas looking like it's sitting on top of Cudden Point
The expected line of rain just broke up and wafted away before it got to us - but there was too much cloud for a sunset

  1. Pretty birds and beautiful skies. A bit hair-raising seeing that fellow trying to get back!
Hope you are both well. I'm settling back to routine after my short break in W.A.

    1. Enjoyed your trip to WA through your photos - Spring must be arriving now just as we are getting cooler and heading into Autumn. Sue
