Tuesday

When a good deal of England was expecting the hottest ever September day this is what I saw when I opened the curtains
Dramatic clouds all around
The clouds continued to flow down from the North

Kept going out onto the balcony to take another photo

Wooster doing his " I see three ships" routine

LPG tanker JBU Maas
Bulk Carrier Wish Star
Some nice waves for a while
I waited in for the Boiler service man and Jim took the dogs out
Still the line of cloud

Rain was approaching from the South this afternoon
Although the clouds were moving the other way
Our super garden helper Robert - standing on the top of the wall above the footpath - sadly he soon had to go for a tea break in his van as the torrential rain arrived - it didn't last too long
With more rain in the offing I took the dogs up the hill
No visible breaks in the cloud but there were several patches of brightness

and that was it -
I got home and around an hour later the thunder & lightning and more torrential rain arrived - think that The Lizard got the worst of it - the pink and white is the heaviest
