Tuesday

Not a good start to the day
 Damp and murky !
It started to improve, but there was still a huge grey cloud to the SE
Which just seemed to stay there !
As we walked the dogs I spotted this sailing ship looks similar to the one we saw yesterday
 Total calm in Boat Cove
 Whimbrel/Curlew on the rocks
Then this flock flew in - not in focus, but the tail shots of the larger birds shows that they are Bar-Tailed Godwits - together with a Turnstone and possibly a Dunlin
Assume they are on their migration
Met Andrea and Fern, who was really happy with her piece of polythene - she loves to toss it around !
 Flat calm

The rain cloud was still there
Yet again no proper sunset, just a huge cloud with a gap at the bottom

and it was still there as it got dark
