Monday - 31st October - sorry rather late

Wonderful start to the day, with lots of sky writing
Scillonian starting her last week before she has her Winter rest. Last sailing on Sunday
We were pinning adverts for the calendar around the village so did the walk backwards
 Lovely beach and sky

Was much windier out on Maen-dhu Point
 Wooster was demonstrating the direction

 Yes definitely an Easterly

Lovely Grey Heron down below us
The struggle to actually get the fish down
Had several attempts to turn it around
 Gulp !
 Little Egret close by
No flag flying over the castle as it is now closed
Wooster is always pleased to meet these two pals
Walking back up Boat Cove Lane
No wonderful sunset - too much high cloud

We had a very scary moment when Phoebe & Alexander (well we think it was them !) came to frighten us !
Now the reason for no photos last night  - we went down to The Victoria for a meal - here are some of the Pumpkin lanterns that were done for Saturday night - others were taken home for the special night !
There it was - Monday night special - Pie & a Pint - last night it was Venison with Red Cabbage and mash - Jim substituted wine for the pint and was lucky enough to have my wine as well. Really enjoyed the evening - but although I managed to edit most of the days photos I was falling asleep so gave up !
