Tuesday - a day out "Oop North"

For anyone who hasn't been to Carbis Bay for a while this will be a shock - Properties being built in front of The Carbis Bay Hotel (by them) massive retaining wall already built and the footpath diverted through their grounds
The recent storm from the North has really scoured lots of sand away - although I do remember a much larger sand cliff there years ago, where I had trouble getting back up to the higher level
 Godrevy Lighthouse
The stream that runs down the valley carving the sand
Another view of the works as we start our walk

Wooster exploring the very spot where Jim clambered many years ago to take a shot of the beach for our holiday cottage brochure
Off she goes up the steep staircase to get over the railway line!
The view from the railway bridge - beach looking wonderful
Award winning railway line into St Ives - the very best way to get to St Ives
Along Hain Walk with some amazing new houses now
The little two carriage train coming  out of St Ives
First sighting of Porthminster Beach and St Ives
The RNLI St Ives Lifeboat, Nora Stachura at anchor as her launch tractor seemed to be out of action
Looking super even at the end of November

Yet another sand cliff to decend to get onto the main beach
Here they are again - more Turnstones - such little stars
Assume that perhaps they are fed on that little balcony
The lifeboat launch vehicle without its tractor
The tractor in the lifeboat house - under repairs or being serviced
In the event of a shout the crew would go out to the AWB on the inshore that is ready and waiting
Caught sight of this Border Force vessel heading West
