Saturday

One of the Mount's Bay training gigs out this morning
After the huge waves on the North coast yesterday, surfers had started to arrive for the nice clean waves here
Jim took the dogs down Boat Cove Lane
Rheas are still there, but we now know that they are leaving with their owner Karen for Exmoor where they will be joined by the Whitbred Shorthorn cattle that used to be in Trenow
Suppose he'll be going too !
Meanwhile I was back in Penzance
Called into The Old Lifeboathouse Bistro for a cappuccino -  with no room for a tree I love the way they solved the problem

Scillonian III still alongside the road
and Yes ! Mali Rose is still in dry dock
It was a fine afternoon, so we took the dogs out to the beach a little earlier than usual. The rough seas have scoured lot of sand away from the top of the beach
This super junk rigged yacht now has AIS, so I know it's called Santiana - she'd been over towards Porthleven
and was heading back to Newlyn - passing one of the training gigs heading East
Lots of surfers still in the water
Lots of high cloud masking the sun
 Very photogenic boat !
Low sand and lots of stones showing at the back of the beach

Some quite big waves every now and then

Love to look into the rock pools - the pink is so pretty and I found an open anemone
Getting a bit cooler by now, but still a lovely afternoon

We met Alison & KB who was trying to hang on to his ball as he knows what Wooster is like !
Just gentle colour due to the thin cloud

Hope we don't end up with a big pool at the bottom of the ramp

Can you find the sun ! !
 Really was a bit weird

 The colour started to spread
 A lovely gentle after sunset
It actually went redder than this, but my camera "say no"
