Wednesday

Moments before sunrise over the hill
But the village was already basking in the glow
The workers all ready for another day of Cauliflower cutting
We decided to drive to Godolphin woods and walk through to Godolphin House
Wooster has noticed dogs approaching
But it was some friends from home
Who enjoyed paddling
Wooster obviously thought the water looked too cold
The lovely ferns are still there
Further up-stream
We then walked through the Godolphin Estate and set off up Godolphin Hill
Wooster was having a great time
Fortunately it wasn't as windy as we expected, but we did fasten our coats and put our hats back on
Looking down towards St Ives - Lelant Church to the right
Rosudgeon Water Tower
Rather a hazy Mount
St Hilary Church spire
The Lookout House up on the top of Cudden Point
Tresowes Hill with The chimney and engine house of the Great Work Mine
A closer view specially for Betty

 Back down the hill
Lots of black birds - possibly Rooks in the fields alongside the Sheep
Very peaceful scene in this field
Lunch time !
Nice big field for Wooster to have another dash in
We then popped into the nice little tea room for tea and cake - lovely and warm in there
Festive look at Godolphin House
and off we went back through the woods to the car and home
When we got home the guys were still cutting those Cauliflowers
Sunset this afternoon - this time into cloud
