Thursday

One I missed from yesterday - Little Egret going deep
As with most of the UK the weather was simply atrocious for most of the day - wind gusting up to 60mph and rain which was torrential at times. But the rain did a good job of washing the windows up at Oamaru and I spotted Gry Maritha arriving back from Scilly
Through the window again -a little patch of sunshine on The Mount
In she goes
Not long after these massive rain clouds swept across the other side of the bay

Jim & Nick took the dogs out - only getting one heavy shower. You can see the power of the wind on the water

  1. Looks like a cold, rough day. Still beautiful. Hope the redecorating is going well. The best time to do it, I imagine.
If you would like to see some sunshine, have a look at my blog - I posted earlier this morning.
    Take care and keep warm.

    1. At least we had some sunshine today, but still really cold and lots of snow elsewhere in UK overnight. Need to get the decorating done as we're so lucky with the bookings we wouldn't get time. We have also bought a new carpet for the whole barn and it's much easier to paint skirtings without carpet. Will check out your blog in a minute. Sue
